MLB 2021 Starting Pitchers Rankings - TOP 100
With the MLB season just around the corner, I have been dipping my toes into the MLB Best Ball tournaments on Underdog Fantasy. They have a $5 Bunt tournament along with a $25 Dinger tournament and for me the key to beating these tournaments and having a team that can finish top 3 and move on to the next round is to have a good grasp of starting pitchers.
I like the idea of building my MLB Best Ball teams with 8 Pitchers, 5 Infielders, and 5 Out Fielders. Most builds you will see teams build with 6/6/6 just to keep it safe. I think going earlier at the IF and OF positions is the way to go and knowing what depth you can find at pitchers gives you an advantage. Going with 8 pitchers puts you in line to get more 2 start weeks from the position which can help keep you in that top 3 position to help your team advance.
I am by no means a baseball expert but I have been drafting and looking at team depth charts and have compiled my own personal top 100 pitcher rankings. Generally you won’t need to go this in-depth at the position as you most likely will have around 80 Pitchers tops that will be drafted in these 12-man leagues.
